    Indonesia’s national currency is Rupiah (Indonesian Rupiah = IDR). The exchange rate normally fluctuates between IDR 14,000 to IDR 15,000 for 1 USD.

  • Climate and Weather
    Bali has a tropical climate with high humidity. The average temperature is 30 degrees Celsius. It experiences two distinctive seasons; dry season, from May until September, and wet seasons, from October until April.

    Jakarta is at UTC/GMT +7 and Bali is at UTC/GMT +8.
     
  • Electricity
    Indonesia’s electricity power supply operates at 220volts / 50Hz (hertz/cycles). The electric plugs and sockets are most probably designed for two-pin plugs. It is recommended that delegates bring their own adaptors to comply with the electric current and plugs.
2. Visa Arrangement
It is the delegate’s responsibility to obtain any visas which may be necessary for this travel. Please refer to the Indonesian Embassy in your country in order to get information regarding visa requirements for travel to Indonesia. Delegations are encouraged to submit their registration as early as possible to facilitate their entry visa if necessary.

The availability of support travel arrangement (air fare) for limited countries will be shared later.
 
6. Health and Medical Services
In case of emergency and other minor medical needs, a medical clinic/facility is available at the conference venue for 24 hours with a general practitioner at standby. Any major treatment will be carried out at the local hospital. Delegates will be responsible for the costs incurred of any hospital treatment, and should therefore ensure that they have appropriate insurance coverage prior to traveling.
